When you are indecisive, all you need is a little half pint of rum and a cigar.. Then go find your crossroads.
All sets have been designed and built to create this fantasy world. This includes all four rooms of the hero apartment (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room), the interior and exterior of the butcher shop and two version of the street with facades (one surrounded by forest and the other not).

From epic landscapes and unforgettable culture, to the often trying times that come with international travel, the series chronicles the unforgettable friendships, personal successes and sometimes crushing disappointments that befall them on their journey. Departures showcases the revelations of two travelers who strive to find themselves and new perspectives while trekking across the globe.
Featuring locations from around the world including: Canada, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, India, Sri Lanka, Japan, China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, Cook Islands, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Papua New Guinea, Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Zambia, Madagascar, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Iceland, Greenland, Antarctica.
Departures was Produced by Jessie Wallace, Steven N. Bray, co-produced and field produced by Darren Portelli, Directed and shot by Andre Dupuis. Camera Assistant (working with Mr. Dupuis) Mark Sampson, Stephen Balogue and sometimes Mr. Bray as well. Featured episodes edited by Jordan Krug, Alvin Campana, and Joshua Eady. Original music from Ryan Latham + many amazing contributions from artists internationally. Voice-over and story narration written in part by Scott Wilson, Justin Lukach and Jessie Wallace.
